Guided tours of The Durham Museum are available for groups of at least ten (10) or more at a discounted rate. These docent-led tours last up to one hour and can be customized to meet your group’s needs or interests. Tours begin with a general history of the building in the Suzanne and Walter Scott Great Hall, and then proceed through the permanent exhibitions, including the Swanson Gallery, the Union Pacific Train Cars and the Byron Reed Coin Collection. Group rates are also available for Self-Guided Tours of The Durham Museum, which allows your group to move through the museum at their own pace.

Guided group tours of the traveling exhibits are also available. Please click here to view the current traveling exhibit.

Please schedule your tour at least two weeks in advance to secure tour guides and the discounted rate.
