The Heritage Map, beautifully displayed on the floor of The Durham Museum's grand concourse, honors both the Omaha community and the sponsors that help sustain one of the city's most vibrant cultural institutions.
As a permanent feature of the museum, the map measures 44 feet by 20 feet, and reflects the scope and strength of both Omaha and nearby communities. Streets, schools, parks, hospitals, golf courses and other well-known landmarks are prominently displayed. Overlaid on the map is a grid of squares, each measuring three square feet. Each square may be sponsored for a contribution of $20,000 to The Durham Museum Endowment Fund. Your commitment will provide perpetual support for the museum's exhibitions and programs.
Acknowledgement of the contribution will be printed on the map to honor an individual, organization, or location that is important to you. Your contribution will remind future visitors of your generous commitment to The Durham Museum, and of the value of making regular gifts to support worthy causes.
