Sponsorship of education programs at The Durham Museum enables thousands of students to take part in enriching experiences that expand their world. Since 2002, the Museum's education department has served an average of over 40,000 students annually. This figure makes up over 35% of our total annual attendance, and reflects our continued commitment to education.
The Durham Museum offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities for foundations, corporations, and individuals, including:
- Smithsonian "Scholars in the Schools" program
- Teachers' Night
- Teachers' Institute
- Visiting Scholar Series presentations
- Summer Workshops scholarships for underprivileged youth
- Underwriting Field Trips to The Durham Museum
The museum will work with your organization to develop a mutually beneficial sponsorship plan for your investment. For questions or additional information, please contact Corey Wilson, Director of Development, at (402) 444-5071 or via email.
