There is plenty of fun to be had by old timers and young whippersnappers alike at The Durham Museum, Saturday, July 30 at Wild, Wild West Day.  The event runs 10AM-3PM.  The Durham is once again teaming up with Wild West Creations to bring back the Old West! Ya’ll won’t want to miss all the western fun we have planned this year.
  • Cowboy Roundup!  Using the clues provided, find the cowboys and win a prize.
  • Play games like horseshoes, snake in my hat, pig pen roundup and cow pie toss.
  • Meet mini horses Goldie and Beasley!
  • Practice your roping skills, race stick horses and learn to stamp leather.
  • Pick up a FREE cowboy hat, while supplies last! Compliments of First National Bank.
When your cowpokes are hungry you can stop by the museum’s Soda Fountain for specials on old-fashioned sodas, BBQ sandwiches and root beer floats! Museum admission applies and this event is FREE for Durham Museum members. Parking and entrance to the museum are available on both the upper and lower levels.
